I
know Santa Barbara.
I
moved to Santa Barbara in 1966 and was educated here.
For the last twenty five years, my husband Ralph, a successful
landscape artist, and I have owned and operated the Waterhouse
Gallery in La Arcada at State and Figueroa street.
My late father, Joe Makray, was a noted portrait painter whose
paintings
still hang at Harry's Plaza Cafe. I have an 14 year-old daughter
who is a Freshman
at Santa Barbara High School. I love cats and dogs, I am particularly
fond German Sherperds!.
I
have been following Santa Barbara real estate for the last 20
years and know
the city extremely well.
I was a board member of Santa Barbara Beautiful for many years.
I am on the board of Santa Barbara Historical Museum as well
as being events coordinator for the Central Coast Chapter of
the California Art Club.
I was previously on the Executive Board of the Downtown Organization
serving as Secretary, Director of Promotions and Treasurer.
